SENATE BILL 1309
Law
Adoption expenses
ADOPTION – Amends existing law to revise provisions regarding allowable expenses for a birth mother.
RS31267 / S1309
Idaho law currently requires that any birth mother expenses over $500 that need to be paid are subject to court approval. This legislation will raise that limit to $2000, so visits to the court will be lessened. These expenses are not paid in cash to the birth mother.
This is changing code references to expense limits between adoption entities, it has no affect on Idaho financial appropriations.
