CAPITOL BUILDING AND GROUNDS – Adds to existing law to authorize the director of the Department of Administration to control the use of the roadways adjoining the Capitol building.

RS30023 / H0025

This legislation adds a section to Title 67, Chapter 16, Idaho Code. It provides that the Director of Administration in cooperation with the Idaho State Capitol Commission, governor and presiding officers of the legislature has authority, in the best interest of the state, to control the use of the roadways adjoining the capitol building.

This legislation will have no impact on the state’s General Fund or any dedicated fund or federal fund because the structure and staffing are currently in place to implement the statute.
