STATE GOVERNMENT – Amends existing law to revise a provision regarding interagency contracts with state institutions of higher education.

Idaho Code 67-2332(A) requires agencies to follow the normal procurement process when seeking to contract with an Idaho university. This change will update the statute to require agencies to obtain quotes/proposals directly from all universities informally instead of through the Division of Purchasing.
This legislation will have no impact on the state’s General fund or any dedicated fund or federal fund because the structure and staffing are currently in place to implement the statute.
