Military burial eligibility
VETERANS CEMETERY – Adds to existing law to provide eligibility requirements and to provide for services.

RS31219 / S1311

Family should be able to honor their veteran loved ones at the Idaho veteran’s cemetery and utilize the facilities to do so if the deceased is eligible for honors and the facility is available. There should not be a requirement of the Idaho veteran’s cemetery being the final resting place.

There is no projected fiscal impact from this legislation as it does not require financial changes to affected agencies. Hours of operation would remain the same.
