PUBLIC WORKS – Amends existing law to revise provisions regarding procurement of public works construction, services, and personal property.

This legislation modifies and updates Idaho Code procurement statutes requirements relating to political subdivisions public works bid thresholds. The threshold modifications are a result of the rise in inflation and the increase in the overall estimated costs associated with public works construction projects.

There would be no direct impact to the General Fund because this legislation only changes the thresholds when political subdivisions are required to submit procurement of public works construction project proposals.
